Lewis Hamilton gives a sweet nod to Kim Kardashian at the latest F1 event
Lewis Hamilton joined fellow Formula 1 drivers on the fan stage at Silverstone, where supporters had the chance to ask questions before the British Grand Prix. One fan pointed out that the seven-time world champion seemed noticeably happier lately and asked whether a girlfriend had anything to do with it.
Before Hamilton answered, broadcaster David Croft joked about whether “Kimi needs two towels,” referencing the viral Monaco Grand Prix moment involving Kim Kardashian and Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli’s towel. The 41-year-old laughed at the remark, calling it “a good one.”
After joking with the crowd, Hamilton first praised Ferrari, describing his new team as “iconic.” He then gave Kardashian a heartfelt mention, adding, “And of course, of course it’s Kim,” drawing cheers from fans. The racing driver also spoke warmly about the support he has received throughout the season, saying it has made a meaningful difference.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” Hamilton said. “It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you. She does that for me every day.”
Kardashian made her first public appearance in the Formula 1 paddock since reports of her relationship with Hamilton emerged earlier this year. She attended the Monaco Grand Prix alongside her sister, Khloe Kardashian, watching from the balcony above Ferrari’s garage during qualifying and race day. Hamilton finished second in the race behind Kimi Antonelli. After stepping onto the podium, Hamilton blew a kiss toward Kardashian as she filmed the celebration.
