Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding Rule Has Guests ‘Frustrated’ — Source

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding rule is making guests frustrated, as per a source. The wedding preparations are reportedly going on in full swing. The couple, who announced their engagement last year, are expected to exchange vows next month. Reports also suggest that the ceremony will take place at Madison Square Garden. Now, as per a source, guests have been told to arrive in NYC without being informed about the venue.

According to Rob Shuter, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding guests are instructed to reach New York for two-day festivities. However, they reportedly haven’t been told when or where the ceremony will take place. “It’s a wedding, not a Middle East peace summit,” a source told the outlet. They continued, “People have kids, jobs, businesses, and travel plans. They’re being asked to block off two full days and just wait for instructions. Guests are frustrated.”

Recently, it was also reported that the couple initially planned to wed in Rhode Island, but the plans were dropped due to security concerns. “Taylor and Travis really wanted their wedding in Rhode Island, and June 13 was the date,” an insider told Us Weekly. However, “security wouldn’t have worked because it could get out of hand with that kind of scale of an event.” The insider also shared the “Bad Blood” hitmaker booked multiple venues from coast to coast on different dates.

“Ocean House [in Westerly] was planned at one point, and then plans changed to New York,” a source said. Swift’s security “had to assess all the venues to see what made sense.” The source shared, “Rhode Island wasn’t great because the nature of the access and the perimeters were too difficult to secure. So the main issue with Rhode Island ended up being security.”

They added, “Everything was being planned in Rhode Island. And so many people wanted to come that plans had to change because it became bigger.”
