Noah Kahan had an unusual request for concertgoers during his Great Divide World Tour. A fan account shared footage of poop strewn across the floor as other attendees seemed distressed by it. The video is seemingly from Kahan’s recent concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Notably, other users who claimed to have witnessed the incident shared that the concerned individual was escorted by security.
The news reached the “Dial Drunk” singer’s ears. He made light of the situation by sharing a backstage selfie with his pants blurred and quipped: “Holy s**t Philly” (via Entertainment Weekly). The 29-year-old singer also joked: “If that’s what tour is going to be like, I’m going to need to buy significantly more boxers.”
The folk-pop singer also spoke about the unfortunate incident directly and penned a brief note on X. Kahan wrote: “If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1000-yard stare after dealing with that.”
Continuing further, he joked: “I s**t myself onstage in Charlottesville but that’s because I am dedicated to my craft.”
