The 12-year-old royal appears to have already hit a growth spurt and is nearly as tall as his mother in the new video. The rare glimpse of the mother-son duo prompted many comments, especially from those who could not believe how quickly the young prince has grown.

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, gave a rare glimpse of herself and her son, Prince George, together in a new video on Instagram. In the video, the pre-teen prince appears to be nearly as tall as his mother after seemingly experiencing a recent growth spurt.
The video features a moment where the prince and his mother can be seen standing side by side. The 12-year-old is almost as tall as Middleton in the video.
The Princess of Wales posted the video from their visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Royal Air Force Coningsby. The clip featured both George and Kate taking turns sitting in the cockpit.

Following the Princess of Wales’ post, many viewers took to the comment section after seeing George in the rare video. “omg, George grew up very fast,” one user wrote, while another added, “Oh my… Prince George is growing up and into his role as heir to the throne. Wonderful.” Likewise, many other comments expressed similar sentiments.
Meanwhile, according to reports, Prince George will also attend Eton College beginning this September.
