Former FLOTUS Michelle Obama gave an artistic nod to her husband, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
She wore a custom-made “Fear of God” t-shirt with “44” scribbled across the front as a nod to her husband’s presidential term. She paired the top with white formal trousers and stunning accessories. The former First Lady worked with her long-time stylist, Meredith Koop, to come up with the outfit.

Michelle paired the ensemble with Aeyde sandals and accessorized with Jacquie Aiche jewelry, including stacked bangles, an ear cuff, dangly earrings, and rings. Jerry Lorenzo, founder of “Fear of God,” shared the stylish “Becoming” memoirist in an Instagram post, calling the look “casual cool”.
Stylist Meredith Koop complimented the fashion house, saying, “Huge thanks to you and the whole @fearofgod team for getting this done.”
Michelle has made a habit of serving iconic looks as tributes to close family members. On June 16, ahead of the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, she honored her late mother, Marian Robinson, by wearing a custom pencil skirt by Acne Studios featuring a portrait of her. Barack Obama had an emotional reaction to the outfit designed by Michelle’s stylist fixture, according to an InStyle report.
She also took the opportunity to commend her husband and told People, “I am so proud of my husband. He’s really messed up, I’m giving him some time, because this beautiful skirt that my stylist Meredith Koop picked out, that is a portrait, my favorite portrait of my mom, he didn’t know it existed until just a few minutes ago.”
Michelle’s latest outfit once again showed how she continues to use fashion as a deeply personal tribute to the people and milestones that have shaped her life.
