Prince William’s reported frustration over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s expected return to the UK has resurfaced in a new report. Insiders claimed the Prince of Wales remains firmly opposed to welcoming the Sussexes back into the royal fold.

According to Closer, tensions between William and King Charles have intensified over plans surrounding Harry and Meghan’s visit. The disagreement reportedly stems from the King’s willingness to extend hospitality to the couple despite years of public family conflict.
A source claimed William has struggled to accept the idea of reconciliation and views the situation as a threat to the monarchy’s stability.
“To say he’s upset and feeling undermined is a colossal understatement,” the insider alleged. “The more it sinks in, the angrier he gets.”
The report suggested William believes Harry and Meghan could use any royal interactions during their visit to rebuild their public image. The source further claimed he remains wary of future projects involving the Sussexes.
“Allowing them back into the fold serves no purpose except opening the floodgates for chaos and showing horrendous weakness,” the insider said.
Reports also claimed the disagreement has created tension between William and Charles. However, neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Sussexes have publicly commented on the latest claims.
The reported dispute comes more than six years after Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties and relocated to California. Since then, the couple has pursued media projects, charitable initiatives, and business ventures while raising their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
