Donald Trump‘s seemmingly bruised hands have once again drawn attention. This happened during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office. This time, both hands appeared to be covered with makeup, though the scarred texture of the skin remained clearly visible.

In a photo captured by photographer Aaron Schwartz, Trump was spotted with bruises on both his hands, covered with makeup to conceal them. His right hand, which has often been observed to be scarred, was layered with a foundation different from his skin color, with it settling into the creases of his skin.
The left hand had uneven and less makeup, with the scar appearing to be purple in color. What also caught many people’s attention was that one of the knuckles in the left hand appeared to have damaged skin and looked cracked. The White House didn’t share any comment on the seemingly bruised hands.
This comes a few days after the president was spotted with a crescent moon-shaped scar on his left hand during the G7 summit. It was papped when he made a thumbs-up gesture with both his hands.
Previously, the White House responded to right-hand bruising vaguely, instead focusing on the praises of Trump. White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said to The Daily Beast in a statement, “President Trump is the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history.”
He continued, “The President is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. President Trump’s commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day.” Recently, Trump has drawn attention not only because of what appears to be bruising on his hands but also due to occasional instances of appearing to doze off during public meetings and a noticeable rash on his neck.
