‘Fighter’ Donald Trump Brutally Mocked After White House Video Backfires

A White House video meant to showcase Donald Trump’s “fighter” image has instead sparked a barrage of sarcastic reactions. The X (formerly Twitter) post compared the president to Joe Biden using footage from separate G7 summits, but many viewers appeared unconvinced. Before long, the clip had become a viral talking point for all the wrong reasons.

Donald Trump trolled by the internet for this video

The criticism began after the White House account on X shared a split-screen video featuring Donald Trump and Joe Biden at separate G7 summits. The post was accompanied by the caption, “Choose your fighter.”

The top half of the video showed Trump attending the 2026 G7 summit in France on Wednesday. As per the footage, the president entered the gathering and jokingly told fellow world leaders, “I’m the boss.” The remark appeared to draw laughter from those in attendance. French President Emmanuel Macron was then seen greeting Trump and asking how he was doing, to which the U.S. president replied, “Good, thank you.”

On the other hand, the lower portion of the clip featured Biden during the 2024 G7 summit in Italy. In the footage, Biden appeared to briefly drift away from a group of world leaders before giving a thumbs-up in another direction. The moment drew attention at the time, with critics claiming it reflected one of several public missteps during his presidency. The video also showed Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni appearing to guide Biden back toward the group photo.

While the White House post seemingly aimed to portray Trump as the stronger leader, many users on X argued that the comparison did not land as intended. Critics quickly flooded the comments section with sarcastic responses. “I see no difference,” one person wrote. “A real boss never says ‘I’m the boss,’” said another individual.

Others were even more direct in their criticism. “Posting propaganda isn’t the flex you think it is,” one user said, while another asked, “Is this what the White House socials are meant for now?” Some users also pushed back against the implication that Trump was immune from awkward public moments. “There’s always a photo of your man looking lost as well,” one viewer claimed.
