Hulk and Thor may have something to look forward to in Avengers: Secret Wars. The green guy was last seen in 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law TV series. On the other hand, the God of Thunder made his last appearance in the Thor: Love and Thunder movie.
What is the rumored Avengers: Secret Wars update?
According to a rumor shared by insider MyTimeToShineHello on X, Hulk and Thor could reportedly appear in multiple versions in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Although the scooper has a solid track record, fans should still take everything with a grain of salt for now. The rumor is particularly intriguing given the potential comic-book inspiration Avengers: Secret Wars could draw from for Thor’s storyline.
In the Marvel comics featuring Earth-15513, the Thor Corps were the enforcers of God Emperor Doom on Battleworld. Each member of the Thor Corps had the power of Thor.
As for Hulk, the latest rumor looks interesting because Mark Ruffalo’s character hasn’t been confirmed for Secret Wars just yet. But avid fans of the superhero would love to see more of him on the screen, should the report turn out to be true eventually.
Before Secret Wars, both Thor and Hulk will be seen in this year’s much-awaited Avengers: Doomsday. Chris Hemsworth will be seen reprising his iconic role alongside Ruffalo as Bruce Banner.
Doomsday’s ensemble cast also includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther.
Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, and Wyatt Russell will also play essential roles. Secret Wars’ cast hasn’t been fully confirmed at the moment.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars will come out next year on December 17, 2027.
