King Charles set to give Prince Harry brutal advice about Meghan Markle marriage, per source
Prince Harry might return to the UK in July, and with this, King Charles is looking forward to rebuilding his ties with his younger son. A source told RadarOnline that the monarch is preparing for an explosive meeting with the Duke of Sussex upon his return to Britain. The insider further added that Charles has no issues with “Harry being married to a confident, ambitious woman,” but the monarch “believes successful marriages require balance.”
And going by the past years and controversies, Charles thinks that Harry has “become increasingly reluctant” to stand on his ground as he is “too often” putting Markle’s “priorities and her dreams ahead of everything else, including his relationship with his own family.” “Charles is set to basically tell Harry to ‘man up’ when it comes to Meghan,” noted the source.
Talking about reconciliation, the monarch seems to have “effectively warned Harry that the goodwill currently being shown toward him is fragile and that there is only so much patience available.” Moreover, it has also been made clear to Harry that he “cannot continue approaching every conversation through the lens of what Meghan wants or expects.”
Thus, if Sussex does not show “greater flexibility and a degree of independence,” then “this tentative thaw in relations could collapse before it ever develops into a meaningful reconciliation.”
Hence, Harry now needs to prove that he is “genuinely committed” to “rebuilding trust” with his royal family. “There is a sense that the burden has shifted and that Harry must show he is approaching any future discussions constructively and sincerely,” added the source.
