Jimmy Fallon ‘questions’ Donald Trump about Knicks game in new skit

In the recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host presented a comedic skit to poke fun at Donald Trump. Fallon did a fake interview with Trump using real clips of the president edited in a way that looks like he is answering.

During the gag, Fallon asked Trump about attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals, where the San Antonio Spurs claimed an 115-111 victory against the New York Knicks. When he asked Trump who his favorite Knicks player was, a clip of the president saying, “Nicki Minaj,” pops up, drawing laughter from the audience.

Fallon then asked Trump if he had cursed the Knicks, to which the president appeared to emphatically say, “No, no, no…” The late-night host continued his hilarious probe, asking Trump about his thoughts on getting booed by the crowd at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

The POTUS replied, “Take me home, mommy. This is too tough for me.” At one point, Fallon asked, “Where else have you seen that many celebrities in one place?” The response came from a clip of Trump saying, “Jeffrey Epstein’s island,” marking one of the boldest exchanges from the bit.

Trump’s appearance at the Knicks vs. Spurs game on Monday at Madison Square Garden sparked widespread controversy. Many ticket holders were reportedly frustrated with the stricter security checks and roadblocks around the venue.

Spurs point guard De’Aaron Fox had previously spoken out against the heavy security measures. During a pregame shootaround, the NBA star said, “I think the president being here just makes it inconvenient on everybody else.” He added, “We’ve got more, obviously more, security. We’ve got to send stuff early. I think our buses are a little earlier, so that’s that (via The Daily Beast).”
