Steve Carell’s Netflix Series Is Dominating All Streaming Charts

Season 2 of a comedy-drama series starring Steve Carell has claimed the top spot on Netflix’s streaming charts. The show is created by incredibly talented writers and producers and features an ensemble cast. It centers on three midlife couples whose friendships are tested after one couple suddenly splits. Their decision disrupts the group’s seasonal vacation tradition.

The Four Seasons Season 2 is streaming on top on Netflix

According to FlixPatrol’s report for June 1, 2026, The Four Seasons Season 2 is #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows in the United States. This is quite impressive considering that the new installment premiered last week, on May 28. It immediately secured the top spot upon release and has maintained that position for nearly a week now.

Meanwhile, the Top 10 list also features Eddie Murphy’s Life Achievement Award event at #2 and The Boroughs at #3, a sci-fi series produced by Stranger Things’ Duffer Brothers. They are followed by Nemesis at #4, Worst Ex Ever at #5, comedian Tom Segura’s Bad Thoughts at #6, and Man on Fire at #7.

Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield developed The Four Seasons for Netflix. It is a modern adaptation of the 1981 film of the same name. It centers on four middle-aged couples and longtime friends who go on four vacations together every year. However, the group’s dynamic shifts when one couple, Nick and Anne, announces their divorce, and Nick brings his new girlfriend on the trip.

The show stars Steve Carell as Nick, Tina Fey as Kate, Will Forte as Jack, Colman Domingo as Danny, Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne, Marco Calvani as Claude, and Erika Henningsen as Ginny, among others.

The Four Seasons Season 1 premiered in May 2025 and garnered positive reviews from nearly everyone. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a critics’ approval rating of 83%, with a user rating of 67%. On IMDb, users have given it a slightly more favorable rating, resulting in 7.2 out of 10. Furthermore, it also earned Domingo a Primetime Emmy nomination.

While Netflix is yet to officially announce a third season, the writers have already started working on the next installment. Season 3 will also feature a new character, portrayed by David Tennant.
