Buckingham Palace Allegedly Aware of Ex-Prince Andrew’s 2020 Trade Dealings

A new BBC report has claimed that King Charles and Buckingham Palace were handed over a massive archive of over 30,000 emails in May 2020 regarding ex-Prince Andrew’s activities as the U.K.’s Special Representative for International Trade.

The archive, which may have contained explosive revelations, was passed on to Lord Chamberlain, the most senior official in the Royal Household, and was marked as having been delivered to Buckingham Palace.

The emails reportedly contained reports concerning Prince Andrew’s financial dealings, adding to the pile of allegations revealed earlier.

Ex-Prince Andrew was reportedly sharing private financial documents with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with whom he maintained a friendship from the late 1990s.

Previously, sources suggested that the Duke of York may have been inappropriate with a woman at the Royal Ascot event in 2002. The Thames Valley Police also declared on May 22 that a woman had claimed that she was taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes. Additionally, royal biographer Andrew Lownie has also made startling allegations about Andrew’s behavior during his years as a working royal.

Investigations continue into Prince Andrew’s questionable international financial dealings and his visits to Mongolia, Kazakhstan, the Bahamas, Laos, and Libya that had personally benefited him.

In the face of fresh allegations and the revelation of the archive that came into their possession in 2020, the revelation could raise questions about whether the palace had prior knowledge of the ex-royal’s controversial activities.

Strangely, the royal family did not take any steps to stem the embattled royal’s activities and allowed him to continue until dark secrets were revealed in an explosive November 16, 2019. Following growing pressure, the palace finally stripped away Andrew’s royal titles in 2022. Ex-Prince Andrew was also evacuated from the Royal Lodge and moved to Marsh Palace in Norfolk.
