Donald Trump Does YMCA Dance With Jake Paul & Internet Has Thoughts

YouTuber Jake Paul recently shared a video of himself doing the YMCA dance with US President Donald Trump, and fans have a lot to say about it. This comes amid Trump’s rally in Kentucky, where he also endorsed Paul as a potential political candidate.

Earlier today, Jake Paul posted a short Instagram clip of himself and Donald Trump doing the YMCA dance. It is a 10-second clip with both subtly grooving while the iconic YMCA song plays in the background.

The dance isn’t a random act but rather the president’s signature move that he has performed at his previous rallies. In the caption, Paul also said that he has recorded an interview with Trump and will upload it soon. He wrote, “Amazing day and interview coming with DJT.”

After the clip went viral, fans have responded to it with varied opinions. Some of the boxer’s fans were happy to see the clip. One fan wrote, “JPeezy for Prez,” and another simply said, “Love it.” A third fan wrote, “Two soul mates found each other.”

However, the reaction is not all positive. A user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, “This makes me want to vote Democrat.”

A second user responded, “Yeah… this isn’t as cool as it would’ve been 6 months ago.”

Someone else wrote, “Why is Jake Paul with the President?”

A fourth user replied, “I can’t believe the guy I used to watch on Vine in 2013 is going to make a run at US president one day.”

“Jake, I had hope for you. Very disappointing,” said another.

This seemingly occurred on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, when Trump held a rally at a packaging facility in Hebron, Kentucky. During his speech at the rally, Trump called Paul onto the podium, describing him as a person with “guts.”

The president also referred to Paul’s December 2025 boxing match with Anthony Joshua. Although the influencer-turned-boxer lost the match with a broken jaw, Trump said he showed “lots of courage.” Paul then praised the Republican leader for teaching him courage and never backing down from a fight. He then addressed the Kentucky citizens by saying they have the courage to fight as well and that everyone’s voice matters.

After Paul ended his speech, Trump praised him and said, “I’m gonna make a prediction that you will be, in the not-too-distant future, running for political office. You have my complete and total endorsement.”
