The wait is over for the McDonald’s fans who have been looking forward to grabbing the ‘Big Arch’ burger. The item was on international testing for a few months last year and is finally coming to the US. The fast food chain’s official X (formerly Twitter) account announced the launch of the new item.
McDonald’s is launching its ‘Big Arch’ burger for US fans
On February 24, McDonald’s X account posted a photo of the ‘Big Arch’ burger. In the caption, she wrote, “THE NEW BIG ARCH IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE A MCDONALD’S BURGER IN ALL CAPS. OUT 3.3.” The burger will be available at participating restaurants across the US for a limited time from March 3.
The oversized item initially launched in Portugal and Canada. It was also available in the United Kingdom for a brief period. McDonald’s Chicago headquarters had the item on its menu for a limited time in September 2025 to give fans a look at what it has to offer. Big Arch is being marketed as a premium offering, featuring larger portions and new flavor combinations that set it apart from the chain’s standard menu burgers.
The ‘Big Arch’ burger includes two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, and a mix of crispy and slivered onions. They are also offering a new sauce called the ‘Big Arch’ sauce, which is “tangy, creamy, with the perfect balance of mustard, pickle and sweet tomato flavors.” A toasted bun, topped with sesame and poppy seeds completes burger.
Fans can enjoy the burger by ordering it for pickup from the full menu in McDonald’s app or opting for McDelivery. The fast food chain has not revealed the item’s price yet. However, the site states that the delivery pricing may vary, depending on the restaurant. This announcement has come on the heels of the ‘Breakfast Poutine’ launch by McDonald’s Canada.
