Donald Trump offers support for Nancy Guthrie case

Fox News Digital learned from a White House official that Donald Trump recently reached out to Savannah Guthrie via a call to speak with her amid her mother, Nancy’s, disappearance. Although the details about their call remain under wraps, it’s learned that Trump has offered additional federal support as the search for Nancy continues.

According to the authorities’ timeline as they continue their investigation, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed that Nancy went to a local family’s home on Saturday at 5:32 p.m. She went there via Uber, and the driver was contacted for additional information. It was known that Nancy visited her daughter, Annie, at her residence for dinner. At 9:48, the family dropped her home as the garage door was open. She was last seen at 9:50 p.m., when the garage door closed, indicating she was home and might have gone to bed.

However, on February 1 at 1:47 a.m., her doorbell camera disconnected, and the software detected a person on camera at 2:12 a.m. Nancy’s pacemaker app seems to have been disconnected from the phone 16 minutes later. The next day, when Nancy didn’t show up for church services, her family checked on her and found she had gone missing. 9-1-1 was called to the scene to investigate her disappearance. Moreover, police officials also reported that “blood drops” were found from the entryway of the home to the driveway of Nancy’s home, further revealing that they match her DNA.

Trump recently shared his reaction to the disappearance of TODAY’s co-host, Guthrie. He said, “I think it’s terrible. I’m going to call [Savannah Guthrie] later on. I think it’s a terrible thing. … Very unusual situation, but we’re going to find out.”
