Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing new restrictions after being told he must ask for permission before returning to his former home, Royal Lodge, to collect his personal belongings, according to sources.
Insiders say this follows his sudden move out of the large property, which was ordered by King Charles III. Andrew reportedly left in a hurry, leaving many personal items behind that he can now only collect under strict conditions.

According to The Mirror, Andrew may no longer come and go from Royal Lodge at will. Instead, he must notify royal aides in advance and attend only at pre-approved times. “It’s the latest in a long line of indignities for him,” one insider said. “He will have to return and collect them, but may only do so by strict appointment.”
A removal van was seen arriving at Royal Lodge this week, suggesting the process of clearing Andrew’s remaining possessions has begun. For now, Andrew is said to be staying at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate, a property once used by his late father, Prince Philip, during his final years.
Sources indicate the arrangement is temporary. Andrew is expected to move into Marsh Farm, a four-bedroom home elsewhere on the Norfolk estate, but not for at least two months. Builders’ vans and temporary facilities have already been spotted near Wood Farm, pointing to ongoing preparations.
Andrew’s closest support reportedly comes from his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are said to remain in contact with their father.
