Ryan Reynolds’ ex-wife Scarlett Johansson gets dragged into the Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni case. Wayfarer co-founder and billionaire Steve Sarowitz gushed about working with the Avengers star on her directorial debut, Eleanor the Great. He also drew comparisons with Reynolds’ current wife, Lively, and said he did not have the same experience on the It Ends With Us set.
Scarlett Johansson has her name dropped in legal case
Scarlett Johansson’s name is mentioned in the ongoing Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni legal case. Wayfarer co-founder Steve Sarowitz raved about working with Johansson on her directorial debut, Eleanor the Great. Sarowitz revealed to filmmaker Claire Ayoub, “I love this women’s empowerment. We have another first-time director we supported.”
Ayoub remarked, “A woman named Scarlett Johansson? I’m so excited for her!” to which Sarowitz replied, “We’re trying to give her her first big break. Maybe people will hear of her after this.” (via US Weekly). Sarowitz was all praise for Johansson and revealed he loved working with her as compared to Reynolds’ current wife, Lively. He stated, “She was so cool, calm, collected, and confident and nice. It’s so interesting because you work with so many people.”
“Almost everybody is nice, and then there’s Blake — she is totally different than everyone else. Not to say anything bad about her, but she’s different,” he added, making the comparison. The Wayfarer co-founder continued, “I think for the most part, most people see what we are doing, see we’re nice, and they’re nice back. Even if they weren’t perfectly nice. I just think some people forgot to learn how to be nice.”
Sarowitz also briefly commented on the It Ends With Us controversy. Sarowitz told Ayoub, “The It Ends With Us drama is simply a drama. I’m done with it. Let the chips fall where they may.” For those unversed, Reynolds and Johansson were married from 2008 to 2011. After their divorce, the Deadpool star married Lively in 2012. The Avengers star is currently married to Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost.
