Notably, the Super Bowl will take place on February 8 and be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Beer brand Budweiser brings two ‘American icons’ for new Super Bowl ad
The iconic beer brand is uniting two “American Icon” animals for its new Super Bowl 2026 ad.
On January 26, Budweiser released its new ad featuring a Clydesdale horse and a bald eagle on Good Morning America. Interestingly, the brand is celebrating 150 years of making beer in the U.S. Hence, they deemed it a great opportunity to pay tribute to the nation’s brilliant legacy.
Budweiser also released the one-minute-long ad on YouTube with the caption, “Budweiser | Super Bowl LX Commercial ‘American Icons’.”
The company marked its 48th Super Bowl commercial appearance by showcasing one of its Clydesdale foals protecting a vulnerable eaglet from loneliness and harsh weather. The duo then becomes best friends, and the two grow up together, with the eaglet riding on the foal’s back.
Finally, the eaglet grows into an American bald eagle and royally flies in the sky, while the Clydesdale foal grows into a majestic horse. The video ends with a shot of the Budweiser beer with the in-video text, “Made of America. For 150 years, this Bud’s for you.”
Moreover, in the final shot, two farmers have Budweiser beer and watch the Clydesdale horse running in its full glory as the eagle soars high in the sky.
Todd Allen, the SVP of Marketing for Budweiser, shared in a statement, “As we celebrate Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday, we knew we had to rise to the occasion in a way only Budweiser can” (via PEOPLE).
Continuing further, Allen stated, “‘American Icons’ brings our heritage to life through powerful storytelling with the Budweiser Clydesdales and an American bald eagle. This year’s spot will leave fans awestruck and proud to enjoy a Budweiser as they celebrate our shared milestone moments.”
