Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials debuts on Netflix streaming chart

Netflix’s newest period mystery drama has earned a place among the platform’s most-watched titles in the United States. Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials ranked fourth on Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 shows list as of January 21, 2026.

The series premiered on January 15 and has quickly drawn attention from viewers of literary adaptations. Moreover, the strong showing places Seven Dials ahead of several popular projects and comes as Stranger Things 5 continues to slide down the chart, landing at number 7.

The series is adapted from Agatha Christie’s 1929 novel The Seven Dials Mystery. It is created and written by Chris Chibnall, with Chris Sweeney directing. Set in England in 1925, the story unfolds after a country house weekend takes a deadly turn when a prank leads to murder. The investigation is led by Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, a sharp and curious young aristocrat who becomes determined to uncover the truth behind the murder.

The drama features a notable ensemble cast led by Mia McKenna-Bruce as Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent. She is joined by Edward Bluemel as Jimmy Thesiger, Iain Glen as Lord Caterham, Martin Freeman as Superintendent Battle, and Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Caterham.

Critical response to Seven Dials has been mixed. The series currently holds a 69 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, the audience reaction has been less favorable, with a 50 percent Popcornmeter rating. Reviews have generally described the show as engaging and intriguing.

Despite the divided reception, the show’s strong chart debut suggests significant viewer interest.
