According to the Entertainment Tonight YouTube video posted January 10, 2026, an ET source described a legal letter. The narrator noted that it asked that “any correspondence go through lawyers.” The clip said a private reset was attempted “at the end of last summer.” It stated that the letter was addressed to David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham.
However, the source claimed the boundary was later enforced on Instagram. It said the Beckhams appeared to unfollow Brooklyn in December, but he blocked them. A source called it “a last resort after they allegedly violated the no-contact request.” Meanwhile, it noted that David left Brooklyn out of a 2025 New Year’s Eve photo dump. Then it added that Brooklyn posted cozy photos with his in-laws instead.
Separately, the clip said Nicola liked fan comments on a birthday TikTok. One fan wrote, “I’m glad Brooklyn was able to join such a nice family.” Another line added, “No child would ever choose to cut off parents without good reason.”
Additionally, the report traced the Beckham family feud back before the 2022 wedding. It claimed Nicola felt her in-laws “blamed her for taking their son away.” Yet it said David and Victoria think she “can be very controlling.” The narrator added that the invitations to meet “fell on deaf ears,” including the former footballer’s knighting ceremony last November.
In an older clip, David said, “We’ve got four amazing children.” He also said, “Nothing comes in the way of our family.” For now, the relationship between the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham appears to be only via lawyer-to-lawyer.
