Ben Affleck’s ex-wives, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez, were both present at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday. They both were presenters at the event. While Garner and Lopez did their job well, many speculated that the duo would have a public reunion. However, the stars were not photographed together even once.

Jennifer Garner made her comeback at the Golden Globes 2026 awards ceremony after 13 years. She last attended the ceremony in 2013 alongside her then-husband Ben Affleck. Garner arrived at the annual awards ceremony in a sparkling, sleeveless black dress with beaded fringe.
Even Affleck’s second ex-wife, J.Lo, was present at the event, mesmerizing everyone with her sheer vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer gown. She was attending this award show for the first time following her divorce from her former husband. She last attended the Golden Globes in 2024 with Affleck.
Both Garner and Lopez were presenters at the award ceremony. The “Yes Day” star presented early at the show, while the pop icon appeared on stage much later. And while many speculated that the two actors might have a public reunion, they skipped it. They were not photographed together even once throughout the show, as per Elle.
Although the two stars share a commonality with their ex-husband, they have kept their relationship with each other away from the prying eyes. Garner, in fact, has always refused to talk about Affleck and Lopez’s divorce in public. “It doesn’t serve me to take in gossip about myself or anyone else, much less my kids, so I don’t do it,” she told Marie Claire UK.
However, it seems J.Lo is impressed with Garner’s co-parenting skills. During a December 2022 Vogue interview, the singer publicly praised the “13 Going on 30” actor, saying Garner is “an amazing co-parent, and they [Affleck and Garner] work really well together.”
Shedding more light on the relationship between Lopez and Garner, a source had earlier told PEOPLE that “two Jens are great admirers of the other” and “they’re all co-parenting.” The tipster revealed, “There is no animosity. They are friendly. We’re always pitting women against women. In this case, it’s just not the truth.”
