Watch Leonardo DiCaprio Get Roasted at Golden Globes

At the Golden Globes, host Nikki Glaser addressed Leonardo DiCaprio’s track record of dating younger women. She initially started by praising the Titanic actor for building an illustrious career, delivering iconic performances, and achieving prestigious accolades. However, she capped off the setup by addressing DiCaprio’s dating history, sparking a wave of laughter in the room.

Check out what Glaser said and DiCaprio’s reaction below.

At the Golden Globes, Nikki Glaser complimented Leonardo DiCaprio’s film One Battle After Another during her opening monologue. She then turned her attention to the actor’s successful career, saying, “What a career you’ve had. I mean, countless iconic performances, you’ve worked with every great director. You’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar.”

Glaser then delivered the punchline, which was a nod to DiCaprio’s tendency to date women under 30. She said, “And the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it’s just insane.”

She also jokingly urged the actor to open up more, noting that the world knows little about his personal life beyond his dating history. Glaser further added, “Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke, it’s cheap, I tried not to. But we don’t know anything else about you, man. There’s nothing else… I searched, and the most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was in Teen Beat in 1991.”

This isn’t the first time a host at the Golden Globes has poked fun at DiCaprio’s dating history. Ricky Gervais famously said at the 2020 edition of the awards show, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, nearly three hours long! Leonardo DiCaprio attended the premiere, and by the end, his date was too old for him.”
