Shaquille O’Neal has launched a scathing attack on 4thQuarterTV, a sports social media page, after it made a misleading and suggestive remark.
The outlet recently reposted a viral image of Shaq sharing a friendly embrace with his friend’s wife, Monique Martin, from behind. The page added an accusatory caption. It said, “Shaq surprised another man’s wife with a visit, and her reaction was, ‘my favorite guy is back in town!’”
Martin originally posted the photo on her Instagram with a wholesome caption. It read, “My favorite guy is back in town and of course, he stopped by to see his favorite people!! Class act always, which is why I love seeing that face pop in!!! ??.”
However, 4thQuarterTV reportedly twisted the caption, implying that Shaq is having an affair with Martin. Slamming the sports page, Shaq shut down the rumors and emphasized that Martin is just his friend’s wife.
The former NBA star penned a strongly worded comment under the post, saying, “Yes my boys wife. I can tell yall site is broke and need money nice try this is the reason yall always gonna b a broke blog. Thanks for making me more money though #dummies.”
Monique Martin is married to Ryan Rackleff, and they have three kids together. She reportedly works as a Chief Executive Director at Famous Ink Corp. It is a sports management company for professional athletes.
How Shaq is acquainted with Martin and Rackleff remains unclear. However, Martin has continued praising the Inside the NBA sports analyst. “He stops by often to check in on us,” Martin said of Shaq, calling him “the biggest baby ever.”
