Chipotle’s Free Meal Offer Hides an ‘Over-The-Top’ Twist

Chipotle has an exciting offer for its loyal customers this festive season. The restaurant chain is offering buy-one-get-one-free tacos for the first three Saturdays of the month, starting on December 6. Not only that, but Chipotle will reward customers with extra offerings of free chips, guac, double protein, or a free drink this month. The initiative encourages customers to celebrate the spirit of community and togetherness during the holiday season.

Chipotle giving customers a chance to win a free meal

Chipotle has launched an offer that customers can’t refuse this holiday season. On Saturday, December 6, fans can earn the opportunity to receive a free taco entrée after placing a three-taco order.

The idea is to invite customers to “come together to share a meal.” However, there is a catch: the offer is valid only after 4 p.m. local time. Not only that, there is a limit of five free menu items per check (via Chipotle’s Press Release).

Interestingly, it is National Ugly Sweater Day on Friday, December 19. Hence, to celebrate that, Chipotle has announced an “Extra Sweater Day” BOGO offer on Saturday, December 20. Customers who wear the most “extra” sweater in the restaurant can earn a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) offer.

To make it simpler for its customers, Chipotle has crafted a timetable of its exciting offers. On December 6, customers can purchase a three-taco entrée and get a free entrée. On December 13, guests can buy a burrito and get a free entrée. Finally, on December 20, also known as “Extra Sweater Day,” fans can flaunt their most “extra” sweater, purchase any entrée, and receive a free entrée.

Chris Brandt, President and Chief Brand Officer, revealed, “Unwrap Extra is about giving back to our fans and creating moments to come together around the food they crave with the people they love.”

Continuing further, he said, “With three consecutive Saturday deals and two surprise drops for every Rewards member, this is our biggest holiday promotion yet.”

Furthermore, Chipotle announced its intention to partner with No Kid Hungry to feed the underprivileged and combat childhood hunger. When customers directly order from Chipotle’s app or website, the money is donated to provide children with access to nutritious meals.
