In Ring Segment: Roman Reigns
Reigns pauses on the ramp. Reigns stares at the Universal Championship. Reigns raises the title over his head and walks to the ring. Reigns is showered with boos. Reigns just stands there and takes it all in. Reigns says he is a man of his word. Reigns said he was going to beat Brock Lesnar and he did. When Reigns won the title he said he was going to defend it. Reigns would normally challenge anyone in the back but tonight he has a specific person in mind. A person who won the Universal Championship in Brooklyn as well and never got his rematch for the title. Finn Bálor. Bálor comes to the ring accepts. Bálor says he is going to take back his title tonight. Reigns and Bálor shake hands.
Baron Corbin comes out and tells everyone to calm down. This match isn’t going to happen. Corbin tells Bálor that if he thinks he is going to be rewarded after the stunt Bálor pulled last night. Corbin says the reason he lost to the Demon is because he couldn’t see. That match never happened. Bálor is going to face Corbin tonight. Reigns calls Corbin a dumbass. Corbin tells Reigns the only reason Reigns has the championship is because Lesnar was more concerned with Braun Strowman last night. Kurt Angle comes out on the ramp and tells Corbin he is getting ahead of himself. Angle makes the matches. Angle books Reigns vs Bálor for the title tonight. Angle tells Corbin that he has a match right now against Bobby Lashley.
