Tommy Dreamer Claims WWE Offered Him ‘A Lot Of Money’ To Close His Promotion

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently interviewed ECW legend Tommy Dreamer.

Dreamer told Fightful,

“I’ve learned a lot of lessons in my life. People talk about the greatness of ECW and, it was, but none of us knew that Paul Heyman was in bed with WWE the entire time. I still have those effects and had to live with those effects for a long time. WWE asked me to sign a contract when I went back with the Wyatts. They offered me a lot of money to close House of Hardcore and I refused.”

John Hennigan Opens Up About Matt Cappotelli Passing

Former WWE Superstar John Hennigan recently sat down with Andrew Thompson of Fightful and opened up about the passing of his dear friend Matt Cappotelli,

“It’s hard to talk about Matt. He was one of the most positive people I have ever known. He never wanted to burden anyone with anything, he always worked his ass off, everything. He had a real positive outlook on life and his interactions with people. There were times in 2006 when he was first diagnosed that I kept thinking about it wasn’t fair that it would happen to Matt. That’s the same with anyone with cancer. It’s not like a fair thing, you can’t think about it in those terms, but Matt really affected me a lot.”
