According to PWInsider.com, the RAW Women’s Championship match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey was scheduled to close Money In The Bank at one point.
It was said that the title match (along with the Alexa Bliss cash-in) was penciled in as the main event at one time, but the decision was made over the weekend to close with the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match.
In regards to James Ellsworth’s return, it was noted that his return had been discussed as far back as the Greatest Royal Rumble match, which had plans for him to appear in that match at one period in time.
