Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated,The Miz opened up on a number of topics including his rivalry with Daniel Bryan, losing the Intercontinental Championship to Seth Rollins and his quest to once again become WWE Champion.

He also addressed his participation in the Red Nose Day fundraiser event held at Newark’s Speedway Academies this past week, aiming to raise awareness about childhood poverty.

Weighing in on Daniel Bryan, Miz remarked that the creator of the Yes! Movement isn’t at his level and is not the same wrestler he was four years ago. He also added that a match between them will only happen when he feels that Bryan is ‘ready for him’.

However, he did shower praise on Seth Rollins, the man who defeated him for the Intercontinental Title, and said that there was ‘arguably no one better’ in the WWE.

He also outlined his intention to recapture the WWE Championship while acknowledging how he wasn’t quite ready for the Title during his initial run in 2011.
