Johnny Gargano versus Tommaso Ciampa is set to take place at NXT Takeover Chicago next month, and they will battle in a street fight.
The match was announced at tonight’s NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. Gargano came out in the middle of a match between EC3 and Fabian Aichner to announce he signed a contract for his match with Ciampa. The pair were involved in several segments during the course of tonight’s tapings that led to the match announcement.

Additionally, the NXT Championship match was confirmed at tonight’s tapings, and Aleister Black will defend his title against Lars Sullivan at Takeover.
NXT Takeover Chicago is set to take place on Saturday June 16th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
