NFL Players Detail Special Relationship With Hulk Hogan

ESPN reports on the special bond shared between WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and Shaquill and Shaquem Griffin of the Seattle Seahawks. Shaquem told ESPN,

“It was crazy hanging out with him, him taking us out to dinner and stuff. And he knew my Dad, I wasn’t expecting that. Him and my Dad knew each other, so that was pretty fun. My Dad owns his own towing business, and my Dad used to tow Hulk Hogan’s cars back and forth from Clearwater to different shops and stuff. And they had a relationship where when the cars would get done getting fixed, he’d pick it back up and take it back to Hulk Hogan’s house.”

When the twin brothers were both drafted by the Seattle Seahawks, Hogan sent out a congratulatory tweet:

The Griffins filmed a video for TMZ, where the two playfully challenge Hogan to a match; but, not one one one. Shaquil Griffin said,

“I think we’ll both have to take him. We can’t just do one on one. It’s not fair.”

The Griffins grew up wrestling fans; but, having been born in 1995 they missed the Hulkamania era. Interestingly, their favorite wrestlers growing up were Big Show and Rey Mysterio. Hogan tweeted the following in regards to the ESPN article:
