In Ring Segment: Kurt Angle
Angle welcomes the crowd to the show. Before Angle can finish his thought, Sunil Singh walks out on the stage and introduces the newest member of Monday Night Raw, the United States Champion, Jinder Mahal. Mahal complains that he didn’t get to travel tot he arena via a motorcade. Angle says they never agreed to that. Mahal says he deserves what he asked for because he is better than anyone on Raw. Mahal says he deserves the same perks as Brock Lesnar. Angle basically tells Mahal no freaking way. If Mahal thinks he is better than everybody else than Mahal needs to prove it in the ring. Angle asks anyone in the back to come out because Mahal is defending the United States championship right now. Mahal goes nuts. Jeff Hary’s music hits.
United States Championship Match: Jinder Mahal (c) w/Sunil Singh vs Jeff Hardy
Mahal kicks Hardy in the gut. Mahal traps Hardy in the corner and stomps him out. Hardy fires up and floor Mahal with a flying elbow drop. Hardy dumps Mahal to the outside. Hardy crushes Mahal with a splash off the apron. After the break, Mahal has Hardy in a modified cobra clutch. Mahal stun guns Hardy on the top rope. Hardy stuns Mahal on the top rope. Hardy goes up top. Mahal cuts Hardy off. Mahal sets up a back suplex. Hardy knocks Mahal off the top. Whisper in the wind by Hardy.
Hardy hits an atomic drop, followed by a leg drop tot he groin. Basement dropkick by Hardy for a near fall. Hardy calls for the Twist of Fate. Mahal escapes and hits a high knee. Hardy kicks out. Mahal stalks Hardy. Mahal tries the Khallas but Hardy turns it into a pin. Mahal kicks out. Mahal almost decapitates Hardy with a boot to the face. Hardy somehow manages to kick out. Gutbuster bu Mahal. Hardy counters into the pin. Mahal kicks out. Hardy lands the Twist of Fate. Hardy hits the Swanton for the win!
