Hulk Hogan Reportedly In Talks For A WWE Return

Never say never, brother… Hulk Hogan is reportedly in talks to make his long-awaited return to WWE.

According to a report by PWInsider.com, discussions about Hogan’s return started a few weeks ago, but it’s unknown what kind of role Hogan would play in the company if he returned.

When asked for comment regarding the report, WWE issued the following statement:

“We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes, however, he is not under any contract with WWE.”

Hogan had been with WWE as a ‘global ambassador’ before being fired in July 2015. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson speculated Hogan could return to the role, or could do something like take over as Smackdown GM since Shane McMahon took his ‘leave of absence’ and Daniel Bryan just got cleared. No matter what his role, it was noted that Hogan’s return would also likely depend on WWE’s promotional partner being OK with the move.
