New Report Suggests Rey Mysterio Still In WWE’s Plans Despite Recent Aro Lucha News

As we reported this past weekend, Rey Mysterio was announced to have signed with Aro Lucha as a performer and a co-owner.

This lead many to expect this would end the rumblings of Mysterio returning to WWE in some capacity after his much-talked about Royal Rumble cameo in January, but Pwinsider is saying today that WWE  is  “still moving forward with plans to speak with Mysterio about a potential new deal going forward.”

Mike Johnson explains in today’s report that Mysterio has been announced as a “co-owner” to motivate fans and others to invest in the company as well. Recent changes in investing regulation allow Aro Lucha to possibly raise $1 million via sales of stock to non-credited investors and fans around the world.  This information was corroborated in the initial article announcing Mysterio signing with Aro Lucha from The Tennessean.

Aro Lucha is working toward to filming their first season this summer.
