WWE RAW Results (2/26) Reigns “Shoots” On Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey Confronts The Authority, And More!

  • The Elimination Chamber was booked in a way where Roman would win but Braun would look as strong as possible by eliminating everyone but Reigns
    • Meltzer notes that WWE “limited the effectiveness of both” in the process
  • Braun Strowman is apparently the ideal version of a pro wrestler in Vince McMahon’s eyes
    • Strowman’s combination of size as well as his ability to do WWE styled comedy effectively is something that Roman Reigns has not been able to do as well
    • Strowman has also noticeably improved as an in-ring worker and now has the crowd behind him
  • WWE could have changed direction and gone with Braun v Brock at WrestleMania but they chose to stay the course
    • WWE has been protecting Lesnar’s F-5 so that it means more when Reigns kicks out of it at WrestleMania
  • While Rollins does have a nice buzz right now Meltzer says he is only just now starting to thrive as a babyface again
  • Similarly Finn Balor is expected to re-enter the WWE Universal Championship picture at some point but he has been too marginalized recently to be elevated to that level
