As noted moments ago, WWE has confirmed they will move back to a dual brand pay-per-view event calendar starting with the WWE Backlash event this May.

The following is the official pay-per-view schedule confirmed by WWE (with venues / cities also confirmed):

WWE Confirms All Dual Brand PPV Calendar In 2018

Wrestlemania 34 April 8 New Orleans, LA
Backlash May 6 Newark, NJ
Money In The Bank June 17
Extreme Rules July 15
Summerslam August 19 Brooklyn, NY
Hell In A Cell September 16
TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs October 21
Survivor Series November 18 Los Angeles, CA
Clash Of Champions December 16

The following changes have been made to the event calendar, per a report originally issued by PWInsider.com that had previously confirmed dates and venues for the 2018 WWE PPV calendar:

  • WWE Payback, originally scheduled for May 27th in Baltimore has been cancelled
  • WWE Battleground, originally scheduled for July 15th in Pittsburgh, has been replaced by Extreme Rules
  • Extreme Rules, originally scheduled for September 16th in San Antonio, has been replaced by Hell In A Cell
  • Hell In A Cell was originally scheduled for September 30th in Nashville; that date has been removed
  • WWE No Mercy has been dropped
  • WWE Great Balls Of Fire has been dropped

As late as last week, tickets were listed on Ticketmaster.com for the Payback event in Baltimore. I reached out to the venue for comment about refunds or another live event and new date for Baltimore, but have not gotten a response yet.
