Dave Meltzer is reporting in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that, “WWE is willing to offer a similar style deal to (Rob) Gronkowski that they offered to Ronda Rousey.”

Meltzer notes that rumors about Gronkowski making a move to WWE started shortly before the Super Bowl this year when Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio said that it wouldn’t shock him if Gronkowski retired after the Super Bowl.

When confronted about the rumors of his retirement from the NFL after the Super Bowl Gronkowski responded by saying, “I don’t know how you heard that but I’m definitely going to look at my future for sure. I’m going to sit down the next couple weeks and see where I’m at.”

The Observer report also goes into detail and how good Gronkowski has been with his finances as well as his history with pro wrestling.

The Patriots’ are apparently moving forward as if Gronkowski will be playing for them next season. If Gronkowski does compete he is slated to receive $10,000,000 for the season.
