NXT Superstar Almost Answered Roode’s Open Challenge?
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio recently that NXT Superstar Adam Cole was almost the man to answer Bobby Roode’s US Open Challenge during the Royal Rumble Kick-Off Show.
Cole was instead put in the Royal Rumble match because WWE didn’t want him losing a fairly short match to Roode.
