Before they ended up suspending him, PWInsider.com is reporting WWE originally had plans for Enzo Amore to face off with Goldust on last night’s RAW broadcast.
According to the report, the match was scheduled for RAW’s third hour, and it would have led to The Dudley Boyz running in for the save after interference from the Zo Train. The plans reportedly called for the Dudleys to put someone through a table and to celebrate with Goldust and Cedric Alexander.

As seen last night, WWE ended up doing a rewrite so the Dudleys ran in during the Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews versus Heath Slater & Rhyno match, ending with Slater going through a table. Goldust and Cedric were ultimately pulled from RAW completely, and the other Cruiserweights were sent over to the Manhattan Center for off air matches.
Enzo has since ultimately been fired by WWE after the sexual assault allegations against him came to light yesterday.
