RAW 25 started off with a classic scene from WWE history — Stone Cold Steve Austin hit Shane and Vince McMahon with a few stunners and hosted a beer bash.
Shane and Stephanie opened the show in Brooklyn and wanted to thank Vince for creating RAW, and they commerated the occasion with a plaque. Vince didn’t look too thrilled, however, and went into a rant about thanking himself for RAW’s creation and that he didn’t need to thank anyone else.
Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music cued up and Vince looked tense, but Austin promised he was there in good faith. Vince said he didn’t want any trouble and said he was a senior citizen, but Shane was in his prime, and Austin ended up hitting a Stunner. Austin then had a few beer toasts with Vince, but ended up surprising him with a Stunner, and toasted Shane before hitting one more to pop the crowd.
