Update On Reported Location For Impact Wrestling’s Redemption PPV, WWE Mixed Match Challenge International Airing Note

Redemption

John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting any prior news of Impact Wrestling hosting their new ‘Redemption’ pay-per-view in Toronto are unconfirmed at this time.

Pollock commented that there is no current deal in place for the show to be hosted at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Center, which was speculated to be the venue that would host the event. It was announced during Monday night’s TV tapings (reportedly by a returning wrestler *link contains spoilers*) that Redemption would take place on April 22nd in Toronto, but this doesn’t appear to be the case as of this morning when Pollock inquired.

Pollock also stated an Impact Wrestling official told him no destination for Redemption has been announced yet; PWInsider.com is also reporting no deal for Toronto is in place, and a current back up plan for the event would see a return to Orlando, Florida.
