On Ed Nordholm and Matt Hardy’s recent handshake and hatchet burial:

SD: We have a management team in place with Ed Nordholm, Don and myself. What we try to do is make decisions as a group. As you’re aware from many other sources we’ve made a pretty drastic change in how we handle the IP because we want to empower the wrestlers to feel like they have ownership of that. They can have the comfort of knowing they’ll always be able to use it. We sat down as a group and decided it’s important that we let all of the wrestlers know, past and present, that that right is available to them and that respect and relationship is available to them. Including Matt Hardy who is a wonderful talent and has a wonderful history here.

On Impact’s relationship with Twitch:

SD: You’ll be seeing an Impact channel on Twitch where we’ll be providing both historical content as well as original programming. Not just wrestling content but also other things where you get to see behind that fourth wall and you get to see the wrestlers in a non-studio setting. Not just seeing them at the arena or backstage but a peak at their personal lives and different aspects of their lives. That’s certainly something fans are interested in. It’s a pretty exciting opportunity for us. Twitch is a great company. It’s out there on the cutting edge and we’ll be providing around the clock content which will be a combination of mainly library content and events that will be exclusive to Twitch.

On what fans will no longer see from Impact Wrestling under the new management team:

SD: What you won’t see is decisions made for anything other than what we as a group feel is best for the company. You won’t see our talent put in a situation where they feel like they are treated as assets and not as human beings. You won’t see a situation where there is a hierarchy that isn’t open to input and creative collaboration. I have to honestly put an asterisk there and say that in some of my time in TNA I saw all those things that I mentioned not happening, happening in a great environment. As you look for what not to see, I think you’re not going to see an authority character, both inside the ring and behind the camera, who tries to run things unilaterally.
