WWE Smackdown Live
At the conclusion of tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan announced AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Zayn ended up beating Styles in the main event of tonight’s Smackdown, but the win came due to shenanigans from Kevin Owens, and both Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan at ringside. Styles called for Owens and Zayn to fight him like men, and said he wanted to fight them both. Bryan ended up declaring he had the solution since Styles wanted a handicap match against them both, and announced the title match would take place at the Royal Rumble PPV in Philadelphia.
