Daniel Bryan has declared Smackdown will see a new United States Champion due to Dolph Ziggler “voluntarily relinquishing” his title.
Bryan came out and talked about the most shocking moment coming from Ziggler, and says he’s tried to get in touch with the United States Champion. Bryan said since Ziggler has been unable to be contacted, he has ‘voluntarily reliquinshed’ the title, and a new tournament will determine the new champion.
Bryan announced Baron Corbin versus Bobby Roode will be one of the matches in the tournament, and it will start on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live.
