Roman Reigns Says Beating John Cena Was The Most Satisfying Moment Of His Year, Talks Success Of His Feud w/ Braun Strowman, Shield Reunion

Roman Reigns recently spoke with the Hindustan Times; you can read a few highlights below:

Roman Reigns comments on working with Braun Strowman:

“I believe that my rivalry with Braun Strowman was quite amazing. The chemistry and the stories that we were able to tell were captivating. What I like most about it is that since we’re both younger talents, it was really a need for me to be able to help him and throw some of the experience that I’ve gained to put him on the fast track. And it worked brilliantly.

From being a Wyatt to being a main-eventer, Braun has been a featured guy and a scary dude. If I can just continue to do that with every young talent, my career would be a success.”

Triple H Compares Roman Reigns To John Cena, Calls Him ‘One Of The Best In The WWE’

Reigns says beating Undertaker was a bigger moment, but his win over John Cena was more satisfying:

“Beating (John) Cena was more satisfying but my win over The Undertaker at a grand stage like Wrestlemania was obviously a bigger moment for me. Being in the ring with The Undertaker in the main event, that speaks for itself but there is something very satisfying about beating John Cena.”

Reigns says his reunion with The Shield is the start of something special:

“It (the reunion) brings back so many cool memories and feelings. But at the same time, we’re all very different. We’re now more established, we’ve been at it for long now, and we’re all more experienced, polished. But that energy is still the same so it’s refreshing. It’s almost as if a new life has been put into all three of us. It’s a nice change a pace, nice switch of gears.”
