Raw kicks off with a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attack that took place on September 11th, 2001.
Roman Reigns vs Jason Jordan
Reigns and Jordan lock up. Neither can get the advantage. Jordan tries to shoot on Reigns but Reigns sprawls out of it. Reigns laughs. Waist lock by Jordan. Reigns responds with a stiff uppercut. Reigns slams Jordan head first into the turnbuckle. Jordan tries to fire up but Reigns drops Jordan to one knee. Reigns clotheslines Jordan in the corner. Jordan grabs Reigns, walks around the ring, then belly-to-belly suplexes Reigns. Jordan stomps Reigns in the corner. Jordan whips Reigns into the corner. Reigns explodes out of the corner with a flying clothesline. Reigns goes back to his corner clotheslines. Walking big boot by Reigns. Reigns sets up the Superman punch. Jordan counters and locks in the cross face. Reigns immediately gets to the ropes to break the hold. Reigns rolls out of the ring clutching at his arm.
After a short break, Jordan lands a few right hands. Reigns blasts Jordan with a headbutt. Reigns whips Jordan into the corner hard. Suplex by Reigns. Reigns locks in a side headlock. Jordan fights out but ends up running right into a Samoan drop. Back to the chin lock by Reigns. Jordan fights back to his feet and backs Reigns back into the corner. Reigns tries another boot but Jordan destroys Reigns with a capture suplex. Reigns tries another Samoan drop. Jordan reverses it and lands a huge clothesline for a near fall. Reigns and Jordan trade strikes. Jordan floors Reigns after a dropkick. Reigns kicks out. Jordan tries another belly-to-belly but Reigns escapes. Jordan grabs Reigns and hits a Saito suplex. Running corner spear by Jordan. Rolling northern lights suplex for a long two count by Jordan. Jordan goes for a gator roll and transitions into the cross face. Reigns eventually gets to the ropes. Jordan tries another corner spear but Reigns moves out of the way. Jordan eats nothing but ring post. Jordan falls out of the ring. Reigns hits the drive by, the Superman punch, and lastly the Spear for the win.
Winner- Roman Reigns
After the match, Reigns shakes Jordan’s hand.
