During yesterday’s UFC 214 pre-fight presser, UFC President Dana White addressed recent rumors that Brock Lesnar might be headed back to the promotion for a fight, and other talks of him possibly fighting Jon Jones.
White said he doesn’t know where any of the talk about a Lesnar versus Jones fight came from, and added:
“It’s crazy, I don’t even know where that thing came from or how it started. First of all, I haven’t… believe me, I haven’t talked to Brock Lesnar. So, I don’t know if [Jones] talked to Brock Lesnar, but I haven’t talked to Brock Lesnar. He [Jones] said ‘not recently.’ Me neither. So, yeah, I’m telling you right now that I have not talked to Brock Lesnar. It sounds like nobody believes me, but it’s true. I have not talked to Brock Lesnar, and according to Jon, right now he even said he hasn’t either.”
Jones added to White’s comments by saying he would deal with Daniel Cormier first and then he would deal with Brock Lesnar.
