EB: It’s ignorance. They don’t know what they don’t know. It’s always been the case. Less so now than in year’s past because unless you are living under a rock or a cave somewhere it’s pretty obvious just how much WWE, or back in the 90’s WCW, has moved over to the mainstream. People judge. If you don’t follow wrestling and you don’t understand it and you don’t understand it’s appeal and if you are just walking by a television set and you see it for a moment it looks pretty basic. It looks like big guys beating the hell out of each other and it looks like something that someone who doesn’t know any better could perceive to be base, low brow entertainment. What people don’t realize is the skill, athleticism and art form that goes into it.
