Global Force Wrestling star and former Tag Team Champion Davey Richards confirmed his departure from the company earlier today, citing his future career as a doctor as why he is leaving.
Richards posted the following Tweet, saying the demands of wrestling along with medical school are becoming too demanding, and he and GFW mutually agreed to part ways:

Richards is a five time tag team champion in TNA / GFW with Eddie Edwards; he was a part of the last set of GFW TV tapings and will still appear in an upcoming match, but will no longer be with the company going forward.
