– Akira Tozawa and Ariya Daivari will face off in tonight’s main event, but we’ll get things started with a two-out-of-three falls match to end the rivalry between Mustafa Ali and Drew Gulak.

Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match

Drew Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali

They started out with a nice back and forth exchange, looking for position and alternating holds on the mat. Gulak attempted to keep things grounded but Ali slipped out and did a beautiful backflip, then rolled his opponent up and almost stole an early pin. Ali kept up the pressure with a bridge pin for two, then rolled into a small package and this time the referee counted to three.

Fall #1: Mustafa Ali

Gulak rolled to the floor and freaked out, tearing apart the commentary table before rolling back into the ring and getting caught with a dropkick. Ali rolled him up again and almost got the win, but Drew kicked out and threw him to the floor in a fit of rage. They slowed things down with a side headlock from here, as the crowd willed the Chicago star back into the match. Gulak is visibly upset, yelling at the referee, and almost got disqualified as he was stomping away at the high-flying star in the corner. Ali took several boots to the face but fired up, seemingly motivated by the assault. He hit an enzuigiri and another dropkick, then went to the apron and launched himself back in with that signature rolling DDT. They brawled out to the floor and Gulak threw his opponent over the barricade, but Ali caught himself and came off the railing with a perfect headscissors takedown. Eventually they crawled back into the ring and Ali went to the top rope looking to put things away, but Gulak crotched him on the ropes and locked in a Dragon Sleeper to get the second fall by submission.

Fall #2: Drew Gulak
